The petition has less than 2,000 signatures; please sign:
The black rhino is a critically endangered, but very beautiful animal. The Dallas Safari Club however, is deciding it wants to sell the right to kill one in Namibia. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, shockingly, is cooperating fully with this senseless act. Please sign, and let's try to save a black rhino together.
That's why I signed a petition to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Dallas Safari Club, which says:
"The Dallas Safari Club is auctioning off a hunting permit in Namibia to kill a critically endangered black rhino. Inexplicably, this has the blessing of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. U.S. Fish and Wildlife: Withdraw your assistance in the killing of an innocent and critically endangered animal. "

- Click for article from Huffington Post - Watch the Stephen Colbert video for today's word: PHILANTROPHY
- Read Kristina Pepelko's 'RIDICULOUS ALERT" at OneGreenPlanet - I used the link there to contact the US Fish & Wildlife agency with my opinion which is that conservation of the black Rhino involves being kind and astute while auctioning off the chance to kill one is barbaric and corrupt.
