Subject: Petition Asking City and County to adopt 4G/5G Health Effects Resolution

Hi,
You are receiving this e-mail as someone who has expressed a concern about the roll-out of 5G and the effects of Electro-Magnetic Frequencies (EMF's) on human, animal and environmental health.
We would like to let you know about a Petition that was just launched. The Petition asks that the Bellingham and Whatcom County Councils pass a 4G/5G Health Effects Resolution. Many cities and some states have taken this action.
Thank you for looking the Petition over, signing if you agree, and sharing widely:
Some background:
Local governments are legally limited by FCC mandates that require small cell installations.
BUT, local governments CAN at least speak out by adopting a Resolution asking that the health effects of EMF's be studied further and taken into consideration.
Over the summer, the FCC stated that safety parameters for EMF's outlined in 1996 are still acceptable. Thousands of non-industry sponsored studies have shown that the 1996 safety parameters are not reflective of reality.
On August 24th, 2020 at a meeting of the Public Works Committee it was recommended and agreed to that Bellingham would look into adopting such a Resolution. The Whatcom County Council was recently provided a sample resolution by our task force and asked to also consider adopting it.
By signing the Petition we can let our elected officials know that this issue is important to us.
Thank you!
