FCSNP Clinic Volunteer Lisa with Diamond and Binx Being there for the cats means being there for their for humans, too We recently received an appointment request for help with two cats, a mom and her kitten, that needed be be seen for their spays. This was more than an appointment request, though - the client needed help getting the cats to the clinic as she was unable to drive. That wasn't all - these cats had been rescued along with several others from a nearby house and getting them in for their appointments was critical for the health of mom and her kitten. We sprang into action and knew that we needed to ensure this client could get the help she needed for her newly rescued cats. FCSNP volunteers are the kind of people who go above and beyond to help cats and their humans as well. We reached out to our volunteers and clinic volunteer Lisa stepped in to help. Lisa transported the cats in before her shift in Recovery, did her entire volunteer shift, and took them back to their new home at the end of the day. Thank you, Lisa! As one of the few standalone high-quality/high-volume spay/neuter clinics in our state, we rely on our supporters to ensure that we can provide these services to those that need it most. A big thank you to all of you for supporting the work we do so that cats like Diamond, Binx, and their caretakers have access to crucial spay and neuter services. |
